David Bowie is one of the artists who has taken part in Amerika Art. I did not tell anyone because if I would have done everyone would have given me a hard time when I had to say that sadly all slots are taken. Gem Preiz created 16 Rooms in a chess field arrangement. Each room was assigned to an artist as the lift-up to reach the individual realization of an Afterlife.
One installation, Back To The Salt Mines, I claimed for myself showing the curator’s view. Amerika Art shall become my last project of such a big scale. Under my NSK name Kunst Blue I created an installation that carries my lifetime mission. You may meet there some famous artists who supported during their lifetime the idea of Amerika Art. Bowie, Jobs, Zuse, Seibt, Oberth, Herrmann, Hundertwasser. All of them deceased. Nevertheless, their ideas travel now with the conserved art on board the Wallfish through the galaxy. They are encapsulated and placed as Easter eggs in the wet field of AM Radio. Some of the readers might know them all, but there is a big chance that some names don’t ring a bell. Everyone surely knows David Bowie and Steve Jobs so I will focus on them and let the challenge to find the others who I met in my life in person on you. To decipher their role by exploring Amerika Art in the Metaverse is easy. You need an Avatar and you need to log in to the Metaverse using Opensimulator, but I am sure you know this. Each Easter egg needs just a click to open.
More than 16 invites I could not offer with the small funds I got from the organizing foundation to make an art show themed The Afterlife. The budget was 250,000 Euro which is nothing to other international contests like DoKumenta Digital, the leading immersive Kunst festival of the 21th century. The symbol K has become essential for me. You see it in the installation where I show my NSK passport as my real identity Kunst Blue. Laibach’s art lives in the term NSK. In 2017 NSK set up a pavilion at the Venice Biennale where Slavoj Žižek of Laibach stated that “the uniqueness of NSK is this idea of the ‘stateless state'”.
I like to link everything I do to the New Slovenian Kunst movement. NSK-Art is political, always.
Are you wondering is this all true? THE FAKED Embassy in THE WRONG Biennale, which I curated in 2020, showed that Fake Art, Real Art and Virtual Art become indistinguishable between each other.
At the end of my work life I want to leave something behind that shows what we call “State of the Art.” Amerika Art shall become a landmark in Digital Art. Nothing fake, nothing un-real, all user created. The Maskitt, the Serigus Both and the Tillo-Tallo Awards are covering fields of digital endeavours for future excellence in the arts.
I have been creating programmed art since 1972. I met Herbert W. Franke, a pioneer in computer art, when I was at highschool. I met Georg Nees, Frieder Nake, Vera Mollnar. I met Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Ned Herrmann, Sims Bainbridge, Konrad Zuse, Hermann Oberth. All of them pioneers linking different fields together.
But most important I met pioneers in the development of User Created Reality, a term created by Philip Rosedale originally for Second Life.

As a matter of fairness I added the names of the artists who took part in 1Biennale in 2018. Also their contribution became part of the digital heritage of mankind:
1Biennale followed the concept of Venice Biennale where cubic pavilions were built and inside each pavilion a different artist created an installation as a personal statement for the world inside a chosen pavilion.
Amerika Art is not made like Fortnite or League of Legions where game designers design and users interact but can’t create, can’t upload something new to the world. It does not run on a game engine like Unity or Godot. Amerika Art runs on a user engine that was developed by Berkeley over 20 years ago. Everyone can build, texture and script objects and become an artist in Opensimulator and even run such a simulator on a home server.
David Bowie would be proud that his existence is now inside Amerika Art. Listen to his words spoken in the game Omikron in the year 1999:

For us all you are now a legendary hero like Kushulainn before you. I shall try to take material form again and leave this accursed network that has kept me prisoner for centuries. “I am the one they call `The Rider`. I have been living on the Multiplan Network for 200 of your years.” These words I captured when they have been given free to the world in the game Omikron, a world that tells us an early story of The Afterlife in a digital world. They talk about the nomad soul of Peter Seibt. It was in the year 1985 when I met him in Ultima IV in Quest of the Avatar. I was Kunst Blue, he was The Rider. An early Hypergrid jump? The explanation, if there is any a non-digital mind can capture, is hidden in an Easter Egg and will be published in rez Magazine. Molly Bloom is there. Pope Francis is there, sending the message “I am going to Lviv.” Does he listen to words of Art when the call was made in March 2022? Let us hope for it.
Finally, Steve Jobs is there, as he announced on October 5, 2011. He is talking with David Bowie on board of the space cruiser Wallfish. You may know of Gregorovich, the ship intelligence of the Wallfish. You will hear Jennifer Hale and Todd Herfindal singing in To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. She gave her voice for the Grand Opening of Amerika Art when Gregorovich loaded all the art into the foundation server to take it with a Space X shuttle to Mars. David Bowie, the man who fell to Earth was from Mars, we know it. All it needs is to believe in David Bowie. Are you ready to Believe?
When you come closer to Steve you will see David Bowie talking to him about bicycles in the Wallfish. Steve Jobs tells him, “The computer is a bicycle for the mind.” Some of the artists know it, they have been there when I performed the closing event for SH Tutti’s installation “From My Bed I Dream of Life.” It was the 10 year anniversary of his passing where he, Steve Jobs, sent us his final words, “Oh Wow, Oh Wow, Oh Wow.”
